I think I got some lucky bumps along the line I picked. The guys seemed to favour staying by the island on the right but I thought I'd take a punt and stay wider to get more wind and potential bumps. Meant 13k of paddling on my left hand side but it was worth it I think.
Caught a very nice boat wake towards the end too.

Well deserved 1st place Kieran.Paddled strongly from the front the whole way.Hopefully see you at some more events even prior to next yrs Gippsland paddle.
