Snuck off to the Prom today. Barely a breath of wind, quite sunny, and fun, small waves. Tried the GoPro in a new position - clipped on the neck of my wetsuit. Better than the nose of the board, but not as good (but less conspicuous than) mouth mount. It is hard to see the board most the time, and not at all going left. Used getxclear.com/ to keep drips off the lens - worked well. (On my Acid 8'10 115L - me: 93 kg, 6'3")
I bought it from their web site getxclear.com It took a little while to arrive. I got it for the session and hero. The footage I got from the Maldives (the xclear did not arrive in time for that trip...) is often messed up with the droplets of water...
CSE... you are smacking that Acid very nicely... well done!
Thanks for the Xclear suggestion.... I've had water drop issues with my sessions.
I am going to do up a post on my "Kook Hat Cam" Best view IMO, smoothest vids with this super simple solution.

Thanks STC. It is a great board and they were good conditions.
I will be interested to see your "kook hat cam" idea. In anticipation I have mounted my session on the brim of an FCS sun cap - I saw some YouTube videos where people had them on their baseball caps. Might give it a go on the water. Right now you can see the brim at the bottom of the frame, but there is an easy solution.
LOOKS like magic water to
It's a magical place...but its a long drive for a surf...
