No probs demos early then the race will be 2 to 3 start when the wind is in. Bring high maintenance for a paddle

Bummer, I'm working Sunday so will have to skip this time, hopefully one of these days I will be free, but that is the joy of being a shift worker , have fun boys and girls.

See you all there conditions should be good

Get down early for a demo paddle from about 11.30 DC, Naish, Starboard, PSH, Coreban, etc

Regos open from about 12 until the race; that is planned to start between 2 and 3pm. Please bring correct weight will not have much change, if you give me a 50 I will assume you are donating for the refreshments afterwards

2 support craft in the water and a vehicle will follow along the road to pick up if you do not quite make the pond no penalties for that

Fun arvo, thanks Hilly for organising it all. Not quite epic down wind conditions with it hitting us a bit on the side but still some great runs. I've just got to learn to paddle across wind and up wind better!
Great relaxed vibe and it seems that everyone had a great time.

Super day Hilly and thanks for your efforts.
I really want one of those trophies I gotta say.
Dead forkin is the obvious route next time.
Great to meet some good gals and fellas.
Super effort from Kat and co!!
Not sure that Jeremey deserved the McGarrett however!

Well done guys - looks like a lot of fun.

I had grand plans to join in after surfing - even thought Id have a crack at doing it on an 8'8" so I didnt have to leave the 12'6 on the roof at mandurah.
That was until I got the 8'8" on the water - took me about 3 hrs just to get the hang of standing on it
- very nice on the wave but

Cheers Guys - took freaking forever - just doing bits and pieces here and there - could probably crank one out in a couple of weeks if you had a good go at it.

Lost track of $$$ - probably around $800 including fins and grip.

Now I just need to get the hang of it - the pulled in nose and tail make it a little tippy

Its nice looking board and fairly light too when I saw it before the Aussie day race.

The only downside to the Fun paddle came when we were driving home. My young bloke said "Dad why does mum get a trophy when she goes in a paddle race and you don't" Apparantly its too far for a 5yr to walk from Rockingham to Fremantle.
Looks like I might have to put on a skirt and change divisions next year.
Great day Hilly thanks for organising it.

Great to meet you all and sorry we could not stay to the end to see you come in.

Thanks to all that let me try their boards also.
