Funny that this morning was the least crowded I have seen Currumbin with a hint of swell for a long time. I surfed the wide bank for a couple of hours from 7:30 and shared it with only a few other SUP riders, was a little fat but worth it to have no hassle and get 300m+ rides all the way into the beach.
I must have been coming in as you were going out (some of us have to work)
. Had it to myself for about an hour. Really clean with a bit of a bowl section off the end. Awesome way to start the day.
