After talking to a few guys it seems that everyone's wives seem to "own" a board. So as an excuse for us to get more water time I figured we could all get together for a paddle/bbq. Kids, wifes, dogs whoever on whatever. We have a shack down in Naval Base right on the water and with the weather looking the way it is it should be perfect. Hopefuly we can get as many people down there as possible to try a few boards, meet some new pople and maybe have a beer or two.
Everyone is welcome, if you need any details how to get there pm me and I will get back to you.
Hey Cam, Thanks again for the invite. We are going to struggle to get there as both our cars were written off in the storm last week. So at the moment we are driving all 5 of us in my Mums little hatch back with no roof racks.
Will be coming through on the way back from the folks at Mandurah PM me details. Jenkz I will have 2 boards PSH 12er and 9 9 Mano welcome to have a paddle on them. 10er in for repairs unfortunately Not topline flat water boards but fun any way.
Girlfriend likes to paddle my small board and I"ll paddle the big one - both surf sup's. If we are welcome with 3 kids perhaps hilly (brother) can text me address. Cheers
More than welcome to bring the kids drum. Figured it was a good opportunity for everyone gids/wives/partners/kids to get together and get on some boards. Have pm'ed Hilly directions.

Belly
Cheers Belly, what time were you planning on heading down?
Sorry I couldnt make it. Probably a bit too far to travel as my wife and kids drove back from Nannup on Sunday. And my kids dont travel very well. Any photos? Reviews? Whens the next meet? How about Pelican Point next time? Theres a park, playground, bbq etc. Family friendly. Would be good to get a big gathering of SUPs.
Thanks cam great idea had a great time. Kids are knackered. Definitely a day for the flat water boards the naish glides looked perfect for the conditions. May be further north next time pm me if you want to come up. Great to meet the breezers
Thanks Cam. Sorry I couldn't hang around for longer but had to get back. I also reckon peli point would be a great family friendly spot with play ground and bbq's and pretty central.
It was good to meet a few new people and try some different boards, glad everyone had a good day.
It will definately be north of the river next time, possibly in the ocean so we can get a few waves and give Belly's 9'4, Hilly's PSH's and all the other shortboards a bit of a run.
I did take a few photos of all the boards and people I will try and get them on tonight. As far as review goes there was probably a 15knt NW'er making a few runners but nothing we couldn't paddle up wind into. The list of boards looks like this: 9'4 JL Mano 10'5 SB Drive 12'6 JL Albatrose 10' Southpoint Bonga 11'2 SB Blend 12' Naish Glide 12' Naish Glide AST 12' PSH Gun 10'6 PSH WAA 9'6 PSH Ripper (I think, Hillly?) + Stew had two more boards that never made it off his roof and I think Steve also had another that didn't make it in the water.
Haha sounds like fun but not sure how other would take it if i rocked up in just a rashie, PFD, Hydration pack and....... no pants or undies could be on the cards but might be a good destraction tecnique
