meh, I sold all my windsurfing gear cause any sport that requires me to have a large trailer is probably not the sport for me. I have found downwinding meets all me wind related needs.
Honestly, if you required a large trailer you, like so many others, got caught up in a gear freaking battle to have the most toys. I know I was once there too.
Nowadays I have one board, 2 or 3 sails, 1 mast and 1 boom. I drive a van, but have carried this gear in hatch backs, SUV's and a number of other vehicles.
For wave sailing that gets me out in 90% of the sailable conditions we see in our area. The days I don't get out I SUP, skateboard, spend time with the family etc etc etc.
So really, the sport didn't require you to have a large trailer, you required it for your own reasons.
