Yep,same here DW,I wore the quickie checks for years until old man fat gut put an end to that.It kept in tune with my punk day's ( Lacey you were there ) so shut up I was frothing when they came back in vogue two years ago. Short checked boardies still wear them every surf.

For the record dropped 15 kgs from my fat day's,now I look like an unfit old football player with all the old nagging injuries

Unbelievable!! I am so jealous, I was there for two three hour sessions on sups in early August. Surfed Wilkes and Namotu left. In fact I think you came out for a paddle with the three of us. (I recognise the chequers and the go pro). Anyway it was enough to just give me a taste for it, I have been dreaming ever since about going back. I cannot imagine how good it is to stay there for a month??? Well actually, I can now, because these photos show just how good it is! How much does it actually cost to stay there??

its great been waiting to surf Restaurats for 30 years mate I got my WISH STOKED but in saying that so many not very good surfers - kiwi's sorry to say that or europeans + rich Americans are really going to get f###ed up I saw so much s### go down sad from to many kooks (but funny) sorry it is a forum you can say it how it is.

Really enjoyed seeing your posts/videos/pics of your Fiji trip DW, how many months were you there for? really want to go back there next winter and explore some of those islands. Namotu looks like absolute paradise.
