The Dog Dude joined Kristi at the Southern Ocean Union of Longboarders (SOUL) Longboard Comp yesterday and threw some buckets to wow the crowd while Kristi took second in the Open Womens and 1st in the Junior Girls.
Kristi is pretty stoked she really hasn't surfed a long board in about 7 years.
She says jumping back on the SUP after the longboard makes her realise just how much more nimble the short SUPS are and how much more power you can get with the paddle for leverage.
Its also twice as hard to paddle the sup in 30kn offshore.
