I've been mooching through the web trying to find some video of someone surfing well on a sup, to no avail. Any tips? And I mean surfing well, not any of that fricken air-popping, tail-sliding, shaka-throwing rubbish. I want to see someone charging overhead barrels, burying rails and laying into big off the tops/round house cutties, preferably with a degree of modesty and no need to claim it. Are there any power surfers on sups out there from whom I can draw that elusive thing called "inspiration"??!!
Much obliged.

Personally, I liked a lot "DTM, the movie" www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/DTM-MOVIE-full-length-surf-sup-flick-free-on-Vimeo/
And most of Dogman, Goatman and all their animal friends footage is worth watching.

A special mention also for Peyo Lizarazu legendary backside bottom turns.

A lot of the top competitors also can provide solid surfing, alas often their sponsor video editors tend to focus on flashy "sliding" moves, so it is hard to find footage of their true talent. (Kai Lenny for instance)

Barrel riding - I can watch this vid of Kyron Rathbone all day

Style - Dave Boehne is all class. Really fluent & has the sweetest cutback. There is some great footage of him on H2Indo DVD.
I'm sure there are better vids on Youtube, but this one is him on some fun little waves.

Move over Kai, dad is in town and he's kicking old school ass. Take your 4ft 3" x 18" SUP and turn it into a skateboard: you'll never be this good.

Well he does throw a shaka and and A-OK, but DK is one of the coolest guys ever, known for not having an ego, and one of NZ's premier watermen
