Sometimes you can be in the rigth place at the right time.
The Planets align, the tide is right, the winds are from the right quadrant and you walk into your favourite shop just in the right time to score a great deal.
Never mind the stuff you've just missed out on...show us the lucky stuff.
Here's mine...

Joe Bark 14' Expedition in perfect condition for $850.

Good score Cuttlefish - they are a really good board IMO.

I picked this lot up yesterday on 'breeze buy/sell.

The ad was up for about an hour so he was stoked as was I.

Ridden twice - smackin' new to look at, $1895 retail with a $500 Art in Surf full carbon paddle and a custom 5mm travel cover with an all round zip and carry handles everywhere which I'd reckon would have been $250 and it's as new as the board.......$2,645.00 value for $1,400.00 and to top it off, a great board in when less than ideal conditions when it's choppy and bumpy being 30.5 wide.

So stoked....only drama was the bloddy traffic thru Sydney from 'gong to collect it today at Terrigal - 6 hour round trip....it'd be 100km each way I'd reckon - ridiculous.

I just came back from Vietnam.

Everything was a good deal there - compared to prices in Aus.

Except for one incident: I had just spent the best part of an hour walking through the war museum in Saigon I visited the Agent Orange floor and then walked through the torture chambers and read all the horrid stories before stepping into the grounds of the museum to inspect the U.S. military hardware left behind.

Just as I walked out of A guy came up to me with no legs, one arm and one eye, he made it clear to me how badly he was affected. I opened up my wallet and he closed it and proceeded to tell me he was selling books. I bought all three of them and paid too much.

It's true enough that the good deals don't have to involve money.
Though beer seems to be a common denominator.
Good stuff Adolf.
Supanimals (almost typed Surfanimals) deal was a pretty sweet one though.

Ha ha, only three! I bought 4 off the same fella. Him and 3 of his mates were dismantling a bomb to sell for scrap (they were 8yo at the time) when it went off - he was the only one to survive.

That war museum spun me out and confirmed my disgust with US foreign policy. The Vietnamese people are awesome.

Oh on Topic.....got an 8 foot Naish for my young bloke 2nd hand off WindSurfnSnow for $500 - cause Sam is a legend and wanted to help a grommet get into SUP.

i know this has been said before, but maybe most of the secound hand boards are over priced, maybe 50% of the retail price would be more realistic if boards were to move quicker on seabreeze. I do realise that people are trying to get their money back but when i only have to spend approx 300 more on a new board with warranties i know which i would choose

Warranty ?

I've never seen a warranty on any board - yes, a fault might allow an exchange but that's VERY rare.

A board that's 'as new' for $300 off retail is $300 in your pocket for a paddle / weekend away or for the wife to buy a dress etc etc......why pay $300 to an outlet when you can jump on someone's change of heart on 'breeze.

I've sold maybe 10 boards on 'breeze - all for about $300 off retail no problems at all so not sure why they need to see quicker ?

Sorry Matt, think your off on a tangent with your post.
