After reading some threads about poor surf conditions on the East Coast thought I would rub some salt in the wounds!
Darwin isn't renowned for its surf - what with 8 metre tidal movement; being dependent on a very narrow swell direction (W to NW) which is the monsoonal flow = onshore; but occasionally all the planets align to get offshore with swell - and a photographer with a big enough lens!! Thanks Angi.

Nice! I like the look of the turn too. Better than any beachies I have had for a while in Sunny (NOT) Queensland.
Is that a stingert suit? Can't be a wetsuit!

Another shot. This time of my daughter. Same location but a different day. Yes they are stinger suits that we are wearing, however, people have been known to wear a "wettie" in the "Dry" during June/July when the SE is blowing & the sun isn't up. (Yes - we have thin blood!)
