There is a possibility I may be moving to Melbourne for 6 months From October while the other half is sent there on work. So I'm wondering about building or having built a few boards rather than trying to ship them over from the uk, is there anyone down that way with a big cnc or names worth trying? We're do people get the customs from?
4D do custom Sups in Ocean Grove that I hear are good or Stonker in Torquay offer Custom...
I've seen Greg Brown ripping on a custom Gash LB SUP that he made for himself, so maybe you could as him too...he's based in Torquay also.
Otherwise, DEEP up on the Gold coast will make you something sweet and then ship it down
Good luck ;)

I'm having a custom shaped at Stonker right now mate. Happy to report back on it in a few weeks if it helps. My current board is a Deep and it's a decent board but will cost you a fair bit extra to get it shipped to VIC and getting a response from them when you're interstate is, well lets just say a bit patchy...
I think the main thing realistically to make it affordable would probably be just getting some blanks cut and ideally one would be a 14' it looks like one of the places offers workshop space to rent so I could then just glass them all myself.
I'm mates with 4D at Ocean Grove, my lifetime shaper of my short boards and mate since I was 8. I am also the Vic agent for Deep Ocean. 4D is an awesome shaper of both short boards an sup's, but don't have the room for race boards. I also have a mate on the Peninsula that owns Ocean Foam, not sure if his machine will cut boards that big. Deep can cut 18' boards but are in Qld, and I'm not sure about sending down a shaped blank, I can check for you though.

I've had access to a Flatbed CNC router in Melbourne. Can cut anything up to 6000 x 2500 x 200. Have used it to cut a downwind board. I've some CAM software to produce cut paths if you have the board design.
Happy to help. PM me if you want to talk more.
