I'm looking at getting a hypernut shape custom made. Just not sure on size I can go down too. Im73kg.Surf a starboard airborn 7'10 x 31.5 at 96 litres at moment. I think I could go down to around the 7 foot length mark. But not to sure on width. Anyone else got this style of board at my weigjt can give me any feedback
Thanks

Why??Is there not stock "minion" board out there that will suit?

I'm in the UK. So no minion. There is boards out here like that but too much volume.

I used to ride the 710 airborne and had a minion that was 7'4" x 26.5"at about 98 litres I think it was. I found that the perfect size for me so I recommend going narrow but keep a little longer works well.

Thanks dude. The 26 width was roughly what I was thinking. With that wide tail and nose I should imagine it still be very stable. But better performance.

There's a stock board over here that is 7'1 x 26.5 at 100 litres. Just thinking it be too much volume as my airborn is 96.

Yes the wide nose and tail makes the 26 wide more stable than it would be normally. I don't understand the hyper nut and the Jp why they have kept the width. The whole logic of the tomo design is to have parallel rails on a narrower board. I normally ride 28 wide on a standard shape.

Yea I agree with u there. Starboard and jp seams a bit out of proportion.is ur minion more volume that it standard shape board? Just wondering because I was planning on going down on literage aswel as size

I'd look at the 6'10 hypernut for dimensions

I can provide you a Shape3Dx file of that kind of board at 85 litres...PM for more info.

Yes you can order what ever thickness you want. I think mine was 4' 1/8" for the 98 litres.
