The wall provided the steepest and most difficult take-off positions so everyone was trying to flirt with it as much as possible. John Whittle was getting so close the hairs on his arm must have been touching the wall!

The boys all look like they are surfing pretty well. Did "Bones" Ribbink make it to this contest? I had a few sups with him in Durban and he was looking pretty good.

Old Ribbink wasn't at the event, but there is the South Coast Carnival event on the South Coast that they will be at next month, so will hook up with them there.
