Love the attitude of the board. It seems to be very sensitive to input, looks like it accelerates fast (though the waves look steep and powerful) and doesn't have that momentum like it's a big board that has a mind of it's own. Nice

Yeah looks very nice!

I'd ? the 4 1/2" thick but it looks like it works pretty well.

Cool. I'll chase him up. I would've REALLY liked to have participated in the Sunday river event... but I don't think my flock will appreciate me bailing out on them for the day!

BTW, had the Nitro out yesterday at a local reef. All good.

No Worries got a couple of Shots of the Coreban Free Riders at a little back beach just south of the border.

some great surfing in that vid. Love the way he uses the paddle and switches hands so casually in-between moves. Very smooth style - a pleasure to watch.

Spoke to a mate who took it for a test ride. He owns the new Naish 8'5" and he said the
Coreban Nitro went better which means it must go unreal cos I thought the Naish went real good.

I got a chance to ride the Nitro tonight in what you could call "PERFECT" conditions to try a new board for the first time.

It was absolute GLASS, no wind at all and just over head high. When I first jumped on it I found it a little tippy but I
think this is because I have been riding a SB 8'5" lately which is really stable. I quickly got used to it and during the
quick session I got a heap of waves. The first couple I didn't think it was very loose until I saw where my back
foot was, a quick stance adjustment and I was throwing it around.

The board felt so solid on its rail and drew the best arks during cutbacks I have ever done on any board. It seemed
really fast and responsive. Nose rocker was great making light work of late drops and coming off the top. Weight was
good which made for tight turns.

I didn't have to punch over any white water so can't comment on stability there but I would imagine it would be ok.

The thing absolutely rips! I want one!
