Glad to see more and more manufacturers venturing into this area of SUPing

Reagan I was talking to Guy & Ivan about these at Noosa they look and sound good , how long before we see them here in Aus.

I can't belive how many race boards are coming out looks like it's going to be a big year on the race scene.

Piros my guess on timing is they would want them to be ready in time for the northern hemisphere summer. But that is a total guess would have to get it from the horse's mouth.

Interesting design on the 14 foot downwind one looks very simialr to a Bill Foote 14 footer with the pulled in tall and wider fore section.

It'll be good to see some more production race boards around. Any idea on how much they are likely to be?

Just checked the website. The Coreban 12'6 (bottom one) has the template of a 1970's Hawaiian Single Fin Gun. Looks great. I'd like to see one.

Had a chat to the guys at coreban and they are pushing hard to get the boards ready and shipped out in about 3 months time! they do look great and Ivan told me that when they did the R&D on the race boards the team riders all said it was boards that are in a class of their own! I cant wait to get one!

Yes it is great stoked to see manufacturers getting into making unlimited SUP downwind racing board designs. I hope this sport really takes of in Australia as it is so big in Hawaii with some big name surfers right behind it & into it. We really need a Pub chain like Hennessey’s in California to sponsor these downwind races.
As downwind paddleboarding really didn’t take of in this country I think maybe they had the wrong guys promoting the paddleboarding downwind sport? ( I think they needed the clubbies to run with it I believe would have been the way to go).
see ya in da ocean
