I was thinking the same when I first watched it on JM's blog.

Great to see these guys like Machado being open minded and giving SUP a go. Looks like he had a heap of fun too.

Whiilst it may have been Bottle's first downwinder, you're obviously unaware, but Rob Machado has been riding SUP longer than anyone here in Australia with the exception of maybe Jamie Mitchell.

Surfing wind swell isnt my idea of fun/enjoyment

In saying that I saw a guy on the weekend windsurfing a SUP, now that looked fun!

Slats look bored on his, and Rob gets excited over just being in the water!!
