Found this video via the windsurfing world ... the last half is some SUP action on (his words) "quite small waves actually" .. which in light of the first half of the video you can let him get away with..
I am pretty sure I had a day out fishing and snorkeling off that boat about 14 years ago with a local character named Jeff, very funny day on the water...Bloody great place to visit.
Jason has always been a goofy footer, but with about 15 seconds to go you see him surfing right on his forehand. Maybe spending so many years on the pole board has taught him to surf natural footed as well!
recently taken up paddling after years wavesailing. Never really took much notice that I'm natural footed & sailed mainly goofy but on a SUP I can definitely switch stance in small stuff; not what JP calls small stuff either! Not confident enough to switch stance in bigger surf... yet
