Where can you buy a brand new wood board for $999? If I had the coin I'd buy it just because

From our experience of riding the 12.2 we have found these boards to be quite specific in their range of use – due to their narrow width they have amazing glide in flat water. However in surf or chop OR for Novices these boards are not ideal. You can ride a wave but they are a little tricky to trim and being a lot less than 30 inches wide they are not suitable to deliver a positive experience to a newbie more than 75 kgs.
What the 12.2 does excel in is flat water cruising – it is currently the fastest paddle board in the range for straight out paddling speed (due to its low rocker and narrow width). If we were in a point to point race this is the board we would be fighting over.
