Looks like something out of Richard Attenborough's collection. Or is it David ? Always get them two mixed up.
Saved by the floaty backdoor.

Ha ha. This is at our families beach house on Fraser Island. My nephew got a GoPro for X-Mas and yesterday thought he'd try his filming skills at a Goanna eating an egg. We pushed record and waited for about 15 mins. Then the Goanna came down, ate the egg and then stole the camera and scaled a 20 feet tree...with the camera still on.

After an attempt to get it down with a fishing rod and 20 mins later we finally got Danny on top of a ladder with a 10 foot pole. After waving to the camera he hits it and it falls out of the tree !!

My 14yr old nephew was stoked at his first GoPro film !!

Goannnacam.. has a good ring to it. Actually I liked his last angle. Nice framing for a lizard.

Here are some pics of the GoPro Goanna. Had the big lens on so couldn't pull back enough for you to see just how tall the tree was. Danny is 6'3" standing on the very top of a 8ft step ladder with a 10ft pole !!
