so can anyone tell me where the doubles start and finish before turning into the v? as i mentioned earlier this is for an assignment and potential a board to be built one day.
The double usually blends from the centre and stretches towards the tail.
Initially the double concave will have the middle of the board and rails at the
same height but the rails will slightly turn to V as you get closer to the tail.
This will make the concaves blend to normal V.
Does this make sense?
Spiral V can make the board/tail super loose but a bit "floaty" meaning you loose some control when laying over a heavy turn at speed. IMO regular V through the tail works the best.
