Good luck to both teams keeping any grass beneath their feet especially in a scrum - the grass will probably roll backwards like a big piece of carpet. The spriggs will be ripping the surface to pieces.

After watching friday nights game you can only conclude that the surface at Etihad stadium is a joke! Great concept - poor execution.

Well, I've been expecting this to pop up for awhile now. Surprised it's taken so long with so many Kiwi posters of late. Ok, AB's will start deserved favourites for sure and the loss of Super Cooper (if he doesn't get off on appeal) is a real blow to the Wallabies. But... we know how you kiwis hate, hate, hate to lose to the wallabies. It puts so much pressure on the AB's and they just get a little bit nervous and the cracks start to appear and.........alright, i'm dreaming now but I reckon were in with a better chance this year than we have been for awhile. Lets hope both sides run it and not kick. Even if we lose, it will mean the AB's have peaked between World cups......again.
Either way it should be a cracker of a game.

It was a shame and a sham that Cooper was only suspended under the IRB rules and identified by a kiwi when in fact the tri nations is played under SANZAR rules. SANZAR did not think it was noteworthy of suspending him until the IRB president (a kiwi) identified it and asked for it to be reviewed.

I think without him the aussies will suffer.

New Zealand-born photographer Scott Barbour is now out of the picture - the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) has banned him from covering the All Blacks' Bledisloe Cup build-up after he deliberately exposed the team's game plan.

The NZRU's official photo agency Getty Images, which employs Barbour as a freelancer, also angered All Blacks management after his image of Graham Henry holding the team's tactical moves was reproduced in Australia media outlets yesterday.

Getty Images is not allowed to send a replacement photographer to the team's remaining practice sessions in Melbourne ahead of Saturday's Tri-Nations match.

The NZRU has no power to deny Getty's access to Etihad Stadium as the match is under the jurisdiction of the Australian Rugby Union, though its representatives may be barred from covering next Saturday's trans-Tasman match in Christchurch.

All Blacks team manager Darren Shand today confirmed Barbour was not welcome at team media opportunities and negotiations with Getty Images were continuing.
