Not sure where Blane found a break in Hawaii to be "All Alone". Haleiwa I'd say. I just arrived in Hawaii this morning and am looking out at all the SUP's everywhere. It really is massive over here. Can't wait to start playing.

Thanks Eric..I will do. I'll be posting heaps of photo's and video's on my ning site. I plan to surf heaps, do a couple of Hawaii Kai downwinds and maybe enter a few races. They are having a "New Years Burn Off" downwind race this Saturday but their idea of "Burnoff" is 12 mile !!! That's 20km right ?? Some burn off ! But I do need a bit of a frying...see how it goes.

Hey Sue, have a great time over there!!

Blane leaves at 4.30am to go out most days so he is often the first one out. He also has some mates who work on the local Navy bases so he gets to ride these uncrowded or ALL ALONE!
I managed to catch a session with him at TURTLES last year - just 3 of us out - frigging awesome!
