Well, its nearly Xmas and I have been asked to suggest a pressie for my family to buy me from Father Christmas......and I'm thinking a new paddle. I just happened to crack my favourite one on the weekend.
What is the latest and greatest fixed carbon paddle that I should be recommending to them?
so many options, just pick a brand that you like.
do you want a bit of glass with carbon (hybrid) or full carbon.
best to see your local dealer?

This, plus:
- lighter is better
- it should be as stiff as you can, meaning that your elbows and shoulders joints should not hurt after a session
- blade size should be adapted to your weight (the lighter, the smaller)
KeNalu Ho'oloa IMO.
Can replace broken parts, get multiple stiffnesses in the shafts, different shape handles etc.
Some of the paddle shafts have texture so your hands won't slip.
And at a price cheaper than most high end paddles.
Smash, I'll throw one in for Atlantis platinum. Great paddle, super strong and stopped all my shoulder pain. I drove over my first and went straight out and bought another.
Just started using a KeNalu xtuf after overpowering a few Naish ones and splitting the shafts, all replaced under warranty. Thanks Warwick
This one was recommended to me by the shop .

Perfect!! Grabbed one yesterday and will also get another brand from the local SUP shop. I can't remember if the family said "one" paddle for Xmas :-)
Wow - this Atlantis Platinum carbon paddle is awesome. Seriously light and is as good,if not better than my other branded carbon paddles. Love it :-)
