Anyone know anything about these things - makes sense I guess - strong/light/flexy but definately not to be used whilst paddling in China

Hi mate, I would be a bit sceptical on the weight. Bamboo has a simliar tensile strength to steel but unfortunatly is very heavy...a bamboo composite paddle might be worth a look....so many options
