Just back from Bali this morning. We had 10 days around Sanur and the last 1/2 of the trip the swell picked up to a few overhead + sessions. Have a few photos from the gopro from the trip (funny, the waves always got bigger when the gopro fogged or we left it at the hotel!!!.......go figure). Anyway, enjoy.......

Took our own over with Air Australia (Strategic). Jo has the 9'6 magic carpet and I have the 9'0 magic carpet. With 2 boards, 2 paddles and a suitcase we were just on the weight limit and didn't pay anything more, heading there or back

Yeah Goaty, really nice waves with no crowds (or a few other SUPers). Hope yet get some good ones in January.

Stayed at the Puri Santrian this trip. It's right on the beach and was about a 1km paddle to get out to the reef.

Hey Lou, had a great trip with some great waves. The 9' magic carpet sure goes a lot better than the 10'10 Walden!

glad you took it as a complement as intended - i love having a surf with my girl and those waves you were on are a great size, over shoulder height and my wife is out of there
