There is a number of people who could win. To hard to pick one over another as they all have their individual skills that could make them the champion. I just hope its an Aussie regardless! This is how I see the top runners in no particular order:

I'm still tipping 5 of the top 10 being Aussies.
You missed another Dark Horse Adapt. Greg Long. 3 or 4? time Aussie OC1 title holder. Looking good at training.
Not sure I'm gonna be able to watch it as I am camping down the coast. So excited to see who wins though, hope there's heaps of re-runs and vids.

i would expect beau to be top 5 around the first can parring incident. his sprint speed is outrageous. you get there in that five and you give yourself every chance

Going to be interesting to see how everyone approaches the Heats, will you go for broke and demoralise the competition or look to just qualify and keep plenty in the tank? Plenty of time between the heats and the final (think it goes off Aust time 1.00am 3.00am and final 7.00am) so perhaps the go for broke strategy could be used.

Watched all the guys practising this morning.... going to be a close race!!!
The beach setup has been amazing to watch - precision plus.. Andy Davies and Justin Holland are also here so don't discount them.

The starts are gonna be CRAZY!! It's a pretty big drop off with rocks on the shore line, i think there is gonna be fin's stuck alot and alot of nose damage getting done tomorrow.
The top 50% of each heat go thru for Mens and Womens then into Final in the arvo.
Looks like there's around about 62men in each heat with more to register in the morning. About 25 girls in each heat aswell, gonna be HARD!!
Shame all 3 of the aussie girls are in HEAT 2 all together, would've been nice to see us spilt up abit.
Both the mens heats are HARD!
All good and having a blast. Today was fun rolly waves and tomorrow looks the same with glassy ocean.

I wondered wether anyone else was watching, yeah aussies doing well.
Mens Elite qualifying heat 2 aussies 1 TG,2 KM,3 JM, In the womens I think Angie was around 6th with Simone a couple of places behind her
How is the open race on ATM 382 paddlers, male and female, all ages, all board sizes, 2's company 382's a crowd.
Almost been fun working nightshift tonight, I was watching a live stream of the KSP wave kiting event at One Eye in Mauritius earlier and now the BOP, (oh and doing a little bit of work)
