Great event well run. Hope they get wind this year.

Good luck everyone. Marcus should give the tourists a run for their money :)

Don't be surprised if there is a west Ozzie at the top of one of the other divisions either.

Wind or no wind, the Korean entry will still finish 'slightly' off course. Christmas island most likely judging by recent events.

Re "the state is killing it"........its a bit of a myth.....the state has been mismanaged re the mining boom........which is rapidly coming to an end...yes a bit of oil and gas stuff still to run..but thats about it....mining construction is in its last stages..yes some people have benefited from the mining boom (myself included) but for the majority of West Australians nothing has changed much...except increasing living costs, high rents etc .
Apologies if this is a bit political but I get tired of hearing about outsiders assuming how WA has benefited from the mining boom.
Nothing extra has happened here that one wouldn't expect from any other city in the country.
The roads north are still crap, yet mining construction traffic on them has increased ten fold, the population has increased amazingly over the last seven years but infrastructure spending remained the same.....and so on and so on.....

but hell its still an amazing place to live...I love it...

I Agree Hilly, Marcus will be well placed especially if he has Ben breathing down his neck. Maybe the little hoeless bloke could get himself a new cardboard box.

Not the way DC sends them, but he would be very warm in the winter and nice and cool in the summer with all the insulation they come in.

Even if I didn't have bloody tennis elbow Id be stoked to even still be able to see the backs of the tourists finish!! Our east coast friends are at another level.

Stimo I agree. Bens been training hard and is flying down on his home stretch. Looking forward to see how he goes this weekend and the next. I'll be rooting for the little brother.
