Yesterday we did another downwinder and I did a short mouthcam vid as we headed off from under the St Kilda pier (almost took the fisherman's lines as I came out) and although it was blowing between 20-30 knots it does not look windy in the vid. The further we get away from the pier the waves get bigger and bigger. We started getting runner after runner..some well over 50 meters at a time.

I'm not sure if I'm getting better at this or we just had a good day but I'm defiantly getting more and more relaxed and also enjoying it even more. Sorry I didn't get any vid out in the rough stuff... Next time.. ..Oh yeah.. I worked out how to get the original sound off the vid so there's no huffing and puffing..

I wonder if you got an old gath helmet and taped the camera to it whether that would be secure enough
