I took some footage of Miller late this arvo with my Olympus.
As you all know already the zoom and quality is not that crash hot.
But I hope you enjoy it.

what model olympus camera is it?

missus wants to get a water proof camera

looking at the olympus 1030 but leaning towards the pentax optio w60 (latest model) seems to have a faster shutter lag?????and is 5x optical zoom

if anyone knows about either give us your opinion

Ive got the Olympus 770. I got it about a year ago so Im guessing they have changed a bit.
I love it because of the simple fact that it is water proof for 10m.
Its also 7.1 mega pixels, which I think is plenty.
But the zoom is only 3x which I think is not enough. My next camera will definately have more than 3x zoom.
Make sure you get a bigger memory card. 2 gig or higher. My 2 gig can hold over 10 000 photos at the standard setting. These photos turn out to be around 1.3 mb which IMO is good enough for printing and emailing.
Over all I highly rate the Olympus and never leave home without it.

Yep that was me. It was good to see you had made your way up to our neck of the woods, shame there wasnt to much swell about for you at the Alley.

It was still a great day to be in the water.

I could tell it was you not for the long hair coming from your helmet but your nice fluent wave riding style as seen on your vids mate.

sure you didnt know it was me when that swarm of flees jumped off my back when i hit the water and landed on you as you paddled past

my missus and kids played in the park for a while then my 4 yr old got in the car and turned the lights on and drained the battery

not so funny..lol...

a quick push start and i drove back home

might make it up late sunday and or full day monday

looks like the swell is coming with me
