She beat us on the long distance, because she can fast on a long time i think. the tomorow, she was 8, 9 or 10 on the beach race vs us. On the long distance, that's incredible..
Just to add some perspective, the guy that got 2nd, Gaetene Sene, won the 12'6" Long Distance race at last year's Battle of the Paddle California. He hasn't missed a podium in Europe this year either, so it's not like Annabel didn't have any competition. In fact the top 6 or 7 guys in that race are all extremely good paddlers.
This is a shot I took of Annabel last year at the Corona Classic. Fantastic effort her full time job is travelling the world with the Starboard team , living out of a suitcase.
I get reguarley smoked by the girls in every race I enter.
