Was watching the westlakes paddle racing this morning.
The red fanatics came 1st and 2nd and the older one (white) was in 4th.
what makes them so fast??

The boards where definately fast tho.
The motor does make a fair bit of difference! Had a paddle of the 14 and 12'6 after the race, the 14 is definately a quick board, would be interesting to compare to the 14 Glide in a downwinder.
