Hey all, I think my addiction is getting a little big. My partner thinks i spend way to much time on here or on my boards, surfing or training, just to add salt to her wounds i've just made a nice little skate longboard and soon a stick to go with it hahahahaha. Stained and shaped by an absolute novice. Give it a go guys!

Hey Adapt, let's put one thing straight...

You can NEVER be TOO addicted to SUP!

I'm in Holland for work at the moment and every canal I walk past, the first thing that pop's into my head is 'wouldn't it be nice to SUP here' or 'I'd defintely need a weed fin to get through that area.' Wouldn't call myself too addicted at all.

I've heard people say once a surfer always a surfer, but I reckon it applies double for SUP.

Anyway, let us know how the skatey goes when it's finished. I've got a street sup and it's loads of fun.

Addiction? I've been told that after 5 x SUP boards and 3 x Street SUP boards, next board I buy is going to result in an intervention.

Yeah I agree you can never be to addicted to SUP, I'm out all the time, whether it be for work or play.

I placed the trucks on today, nothing to fancy but i think i'm going to need some bigger spaces otherwise the wheels are going to hit the deck all the time.

Next project is the home made stick, so once i have finnished i'll post some more pictures.

Thanks for the great comments on the board

Yes, get the riser pads! Wheel bite sucks arse!
In the pics above, you might notice that the Sidewinder Trucks are tall to avoid wheel bite, but the trucks project out the front and back, plus the deck is cut away. So with the setup in the pics, wheel bite is actually impossible. Deck cannot touch wheels!
Similar but different to the fact you can't lick your nuts!
