With an 'East Coast Low' forecast, shifting winds and extreme thoughts on every weather persons lips, Lou and I decided to steer clear of the coast and get some SUP'ping in this lovely Sunday morning.
Half expecting rain, wind and generally ordinary conditions, we met just prior to 7am at Audley in the Royal National Park to be blessed with glass on the river, no wind, sun breaking over the horizon and not a person in sight.
Was a lovely way to see in a Sunday on the 14' Naish Glide with a mate and nature. We await the ECL to arrive !
Beaut pics surfanimals. I'm trying to work it out, I reckon I've been that way before a long long time ago... maybe you can make my life easier.... Are you paddling somewhere near the south Coast of Sydney?
Did the run the other direction at the other end of the day today. Swallow Rock to Audley at 4 pm. Bit of wind in my face to start, but went dead calm and like glass after about 10 minutes. Beautiful rainbow and angry clouds. Even a couple of rolls of thunder to add effect. Thanks guys for the inspiration. Unfortunately no pictures, but you get the idea.

A few of us meeting at Bonny Vale at 7am in the morning (sunday) for a run in the Hacking - might be some runners to surf on low tide and protection from the SW'er too.
