Scotty's done a couple of hybrid boards before. this one has tow board fin placement. I did a 12' board about a year ago (gun outline) and ran the side fins paralleled to the stringer. Super stable and fast in the flats, but lost drive when surfing.
I think Scotty puts thruster set up's in his cruisers cause he's just like me, he's not a fan of single fins or how they feel!!!!!!!!

The 14' was for sale after i chucked a man tantrum after the excel race. Wasn't digging downwinding at all. Had a a couple of fun runs last week and was 1/2 1/2 about keeping it, then it sold... Regretting putting it up now. but ive just seen the 3rd Gen board and it looks great. Thinking about a 12'6 now

But single fins are fun !! I'm about to embark back into another extended single fin period.
