Hey Guys,
Over the weekend Dale, Elyse and myself were the first to SUP in the 97 km Paddle for Life.
The event has been running for the past 8 Years to raise money for the summerland early intervention program and LADS, this year raising over $12000.
It was a great weekend run over 3 days, the paddle consisting of 5 legs, starting in Lismore paddling and camping down the Richmond river to Ballina.
Here is the web link and a few pics.
Hope to see a few more SUP's next Year.

Great effort Andy & Dale BUT especially to Elyse , is it true her longest paddle before this was only 5km . massive effort...

I spoke to Dale last night and the last section sounded like hell straight into big headwind. It looks like the race had a lot of support great effort to raise so much money.

Awesome stuff! Sorry I couldn't join you as I am "stuck" in Phuket.

For anyone interested thise 3 DC boards show the different styles of the DC boards. Dale is on the new flatter water design while Elyse is on the bigger ocean run design. Elyse would have had the hardest paddle on her board on the river and also into the wind - which makes he effort even bigger. Nice!
