With the amount of girls with 12'6 race boards now, i'd thought they would finally add that as a female division. Just having unlimited womens is a bit dissapointing. I actually don't even know of any girls that have an unlimited race sup anymore.

Thanks for posting Ali Cat will have to try and get in a downwinder before then!

I agree, I think if someone was to give Surfing Queensland a call and ask them to put the women's 12'6 class in they would, they probably aren't aware that women's unlimited isn't as popular as they may think.

I've still got an unlimited board and would prefer to paddle it.

...but I still reckon they should have a 12'6 class for the girls considering the number of women paddling now.

If they can only have one womens division, then 12'6 probably makes more sense based on numbers, and those of us with bigger boards might have to paddle 12'6's on the day. With an unlimited option in the mens, I'm sure there will be a few 12'6 boards available for any girls who only have a bigger boards to borrow.

Sue stills has her DC 17 and tonight smashed most of the blokes at the TT at Lake Kawana.

I think if the Ladies of SUP all enter and on the day all rock up with 12'6 boards they will put the class in.

Yeh the Stock 12' or under is Prone boards only. Hard to add another class on the day. I will email them again this year as i did last year and see what the chances are.

Pretty sure all the girls i know who have got unlimited boards have also got 12'6 boards aswell. It would just be great to get all the girls in the same class for once and make the numbers look stronger.
