the new pin is faster for sure. a wee tippier, but nothing i'm worried about. gets up and goes quicker and easier to hold speed paddled both and we swapped around and later i went out in a very windy ck mouth. while tomy sq just takes off on a bump, the pin is faster overall and surprisingly kick turns easier and is more responsive to rail turning under foot.

i'm waiting to dw it. trading off some stability for easier turning and more regular smoother speed- pros and cons, we'll see. but i'm hoping i can dw the pin for sure and i'm reasonably confident.

changed the fin position to middle of box- goes better

cheers

ps still love t1

pps gripped and finned up weighs 8.9 kgs

I thought I saw you with Tomy2 on the roof on my way to work this afternoon, figured you'd just picked it up from Dale's. Interested to hear how it goes downwind.

Pfft you guys and that Kai lenny fella are slow on the uptake ive been using small fins in my race boards for ages. Told Jake to give it a go , he laughed at me.I think it actually makes a board more stable not less
