I've had mine in DOH windy choppy conditions and it was rock solid. Any long board is going to be a challenge in very steep waves with late take-offs, but the 10-6 Nalu handles better than you'd expect for something that stable and long.

I'm 105kgs bone dry, have had both the 10'6 and 11'0 Nalu's in GTW. Currently of my three boards two SB Widepoints and the 11'0 Nalu, the Nalu gets wet twice as often as the other two put together.
I had it out in solid 4-5ft waves a month ago, it's length makes it more difficult to ride out of a big drop and coupled with offshore wind you'll be on the tail feeling very light. Having said that, that's one surf in my last 20.
For anyone questioning their popularity show me a secondhand one, less than 3yr old, that doesn't sell on Seabreeze or Gumtree within 2days flat.
I reckon at 94kgs your right in the sweet spot for the 10'6, I got away with it but when shopping for a second one went 11'0, which works for me. Secretly still also want another 10'6, just got a few other toys ahead of it on priority list.
Only had to buy another cause snapped the first in shore dump, which is a good tip for new players when going longer.

Had the 10'10" and the 10'6". The 10'10" was a tanker with channels underneath. Hard work turning in big waves. The 10'6" handled as big as i could take it out in, only needing an angled take off for the steep stuff.

Thanks bretto.I'm just hitting the 11' limits now in sized waves .but had a great 2 foot day today ..the 11' stays no matter what.
i reckon a 10.6 in the quiver will be good .
My Nalu hit the water more too.

That's good to know ,Brenno ..as I crap myself if i come over the hill and see its 5-6 foot ...
I know I'm gonna be pushing the 11' limits .and can't be bothered going back for a shorty.

caltrano .the 11' has plenty of rocker ..it's just the 31 width and volume that make it a handful in big stuff.
other that that its a great board .but I guess every board has its limit and range in what condition s is suited too.
