Came here first time around asking for an all rounder board advices and end up with a Naish Nalu 11'6 ... Great fun kids love it, trouble is I have a few and they all fighting over it ...

I'm after a recommendation for a second one, maybe a third at some stage depending on how keen they are....as always I prefer quality gear.

I want something where I buy once and let the kids use it and as they grow older they can use it as well, I don't want just a kid one and end up buying another one later a couple years down the track.

Not a regular user, mostly use in summer but I don't mind paying for quality.

Hi roe,

It will depend on what your going to be using the second board for... if its going to be an all-rounder, in small waves as well as flat water, the Mana would be perfect. The size would depend on your weight and if the kids are going to paddle this one too.

If your after a board mainly for flat water, your spot on with the Nalu. With the lower rocker-line and hard rails, it glides so well trough the flat water! The Mana is also pretty good in the flats, however it does push a little bit of water.

Best option is to demo as many boards as possible.

Hey Roey,
Grab the kids and Demo Demo Demo... heaps of choice around. And any shop should love you. You wont go wrong with Naish Mana or Starboard Whopper, Drive or Wide Point... and luckily for you, the better the "pay" the better the "play" so you will be fine!

It is a bit hard to do any demo where I am..

I usually stick to well known brand with reputation and
read other review and recommendation and that how I usually buy my gears.
I'm always happy with the purchase that way ....

Right now my short list is,

NSP 10'2 (2012)
Naish MANA 10' AST.

anything else I need to consider?

Anyone know a good place SUP retailer down NSW South Coast
around Batemans bay area?

I'm heading down there in the next 2 weeks I can check them out then
may even do a deal if the price is right :-)
