I just had this same problem.
All i can say is try them all. i ended up going with the mid size ke nalu with a stiff shaft as the large blade had a little to much grab for me.
I have not tried the QB's but im sure you cant go wrong with either..
Also the new Ke nalu might be a good option to if you like the V drive..

I was lucky enough to pick up one each overseas this year.
I have a 96sq" Trifecta with a featherlight shaft and a 91sq" V Drive with featherlight shaft.
I chose the featherlight shaft as I cut my paddles very short compared to most other people.
Your shaft options will be either round tapered or oval tapered. The oval tapered being the stiffest.
The V Drive is my preferred option for sprinting or DW as it's got an instant big strong catch. Pulls smooth and has a nice clean exit. It's best point is it's big catch; great for sprinting that little bit extra for a bump.
The 91sq" V Drive works very well with a higher cadence paddler.
The Trifecta has a softer catch but really loads up progressively through the stroke and feels buttery smooth and powerful. Lovely clean exit too.
I love this for longer distance flatter water type races. Over a longer distance, with a slower cadence I'm a bit quicker with the Trifecta. That said, you can sprint with the 96sq" Trifecta quite effectively when required.
I really love both since I got them. The finish and construction quality is fantastic.
Try and find a shop that has a demo of both and see which works best for you.!!!

I have over 20 paddles, including two Ke Nalus and both sizes of the v-drive, both with oval tapered shafts. The v-drive 91 is something special. It is fast and incredibly comfortable to use. I find the flex a great compromise between stiffness and flex, and the tapered shaft makes it easy on the body for a paddle with such an immediate catch. If you want the absolute lightest and stiffest paddle then buy something else (ZRE are about the stiffest and lightest I think). But if you want the most comfortable paddle with great "feel" and outstanding performance then, if you can afford it, you won't regret the v-drive. The 91 will be big enough for most people, it pulls like a bigger paddle. The larger one is really for people who like a lot of area - it feels almost like a 110 conventional Quickblade.
