I'd go the RED. REDs are of significantly stiffer/sturdier construction than the Naish inflatables. Can't speak for the RED Ride but have been on the Nalu 11', it was a bit of a floppy banana IMO. I own a RED 12'6 and have paddled it back-to-back with the Naish 12'6 - the RED inflates waaaay stiffer, even without its side battens installed. Only downside is my RED is a kg or two heavier than the NAISH. The backpack bag the REDs come with is also excellent, a cut above the duffle bag things the other boards tend to come in. Yep, go the RED.
Cheers still wondering if inflatable is best or solid board.
Cheers
No comparison between the two - solid is always going to give a better performance, however if you lack storage space for a longer, solid SUP, or you intend to travel, a decent inflatable (RED make some of the best around in terms of rigidity etc.) is better than no SUP at all ![]()
Hi guys I just traveled to Hawaii and main land US and Dubi and singapore for three months and took a Airsup with us and surfed it everywhere, so easy to travel with had heaps of fun on it.
Would not have been able to do this trip as easily as we did it with a hard board.
They also do a new one even lighter now.
Best family board
Think inflatable better for me. Although I have pick up think easier, if performance ok in chop. Only use inflatable till now but been offered naish nalu 11,4 but think red 12'6 may suit better. Thought's

I agree.. Hate to see you turn down a classic 11'4'' Nalu to get an inflatable..
One short paddle on both will leave you shaking your head thinking.. wow.. I almost made a huge mistake getting a blow-up.. ![]()
