Hi guys,
I'm looking for any information regarding the 11'4s surfing performance,I am a capable surfer and am interested in any feedback from those that have riden this board,
I'm looking at this board over the 10'65 for better flat water cruising, plan to use the board 50/50,
Feedback will be greatly appreciated,
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the Breeze.
I've had both the 11'4" and 10'6".5 and IMO the 10'6.5 is the board to get.. I think it surfs so much better and is very similar in stability and flat water paddling performance .. How heavy are you? .. I found the big 11'4" much harder to turn thn the 10'6".5 .. They are both similar in width and that extra 10" feels like its more than that.. They have different bottom shapes with the 10'6".5 having a little more v continuing up the board from the tail allowing it to go from rail to rail better.. The 10'6.5 feels much faster on a wave than the 11'4".

Thanks so much for your feedback DJ,
Im 85 kilos and knew i was going to have to "compromise" some where as it will be a one board quiver, that was one of my concerns the extra 10" especially if it does feel more than that when surfing, I just thought the extra 10" would be better off for the flat water paddling.... If there is not a huge difference in flat water paddling doesnt make much sense to go the 11.4".
Thanks again
Cheers
