The hardest part about board selection is what to get. I'm 6'3, 92kg like to race and do the very occasional downwind (when I'm aloud to leave the family for more then 2 hrs). I can't decide between a 12'6 or a 14'. Then to make things worse I can't decide between a Fanatic, Naish, DC, Deep or Lahui Kai. So I'm asking you fellow races and downwinders to lay the cards out on the table and hit me with all the info you can to help me out of this mess.

Aahhh the old "analysis paralysis"...
...just buy the one that you get the best vibe off and and start paddling. It's quite liberating.
I've got a Fanatic 12'6 race carbon. Can't find a fault in it for racing or downwinders.

I guess I should have added that I've owned a Lahui Kai 12'6 old version, a Fanatic Fly Race 14 wood, I've demoed 14' DC and a 12'6 DC new and old versions. I've also tried a 14' DEEP. This is what makes the decision hard as there all good boards but all have some positives and negatives.
