I'm a bit upset with myself. I strapped my Corban Edge down a bit too hard on the roof rack and compressed the raised rail on the top on one side, 2 little cracks about 3cm going across the top-rail and a sunken area in between.

Any tips on what the best way to repair this? e.g. inject resin into the cracks, or sand back to mat and reglass?

bugger Simon, best thing to do for a quick fix is epoxy over the top, but for a good fix take it to Scotty and young James will make it better than a shop bought one

Deffinitely sand (or file) back and reglass, doesn't take long and worth the effort.

Search board repair on the windsurfing forums for lots of how-to info.
