Today I checked Werner padded double paddle bag...It's a very good quality bag..about 88" long and wide enough for a couple of 9 1/2" blade paddles.

The problem that I found is the if you put two paddles facing the same way I could not do up the zip.

But that was easy fixed by having one paddle face one way the the other paddle face the other.

Then it zipped up ok...Notice that the pad that goes between the two paddles only covers the blade area...Here we go..all zipped up.

It's a pretty good paddle bag for those looking for one..It's also a good bag to use with just one paddle.

There's not many paddle bags out there to choose from..I'm not sure about the price..($70 I think)..Pricy but worth it imo to keep your $450 paddle safe.

btw..I bought a new Kialoa Nalu paddle today..and I can't wait to test it out.

Beautiful looking paddle.... http://www.kialoa.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=81

DJ, the Kialoa paddle looks good. So does the bag. So does the doggy footprint in your house. That must be some woofer you have!
BTW, I may be going to the surf coast this saturday...early. Are you interested?

The kialoa looks really good - did you pay the extra tenner for a splash?

I'd be in for a surf trip also - can't get the car until 8:00am and need to be home by 1:00pm. I also have an annual big boozy lunch happening tomorrow - see how I go....

I purchased the C4 ULI online last Saturday and my financial advisor isn't too happy with me after I told her. Anyway, I really can't wait till I get the board now - hopefully it arrives here Wednesday. I just read a great review on it: csx355.blogspot.com/2008/01/uli-11-stand-up-paddle-board.html

I guess as long as it's a SUP anonymous meeting, at the surfcoast, I'll be ok.

I won a day off work today, so I thought I would take it sometime during the week on one of these fantastic autum days we've been getting lately. What day are you usually free DJ, I'd love to take the C4 ULI out in the surf?

Do you want to go down together..The weather is looking perfect..and fingers crossed for waves..We might even paddle up to Bells beach from Point Danger.

makes sense to go in one car. But 1 hour and 20 minutes each way is a fair bit of driving for 2 hours paddling - might just get a thickshake instead.

Hi DJ ,

Great choice with the Kialoa paddle , i just broke my paddle last week and hope to get the same one soon.....is that the Shaka Pu'u model ?? they are so light !

Swell at Torquay pt last night on dark was tiny but glassy , but this morning the swell has picked up slightly around 1-2 foot .
Im going for a paddle at lunchtime low tide today so hope it picks up ,wind is light for Sat so should be good conditions , looking fwd to SUP with you all !!

Do you want to meet at Pt Danger ?

Hey Revvin do you need a board? , have a Walden you can use if needed.

Hey guys,

Yeah still keen to come across for a paddle if its an early, my wifes got an appointment at 11:30 so would have to be leaving Torquay by about 10:50 to look after the grommet.

Thanks for the board offer Rich, I've still got the Walden demo for another week or so.

Pt Danger's probably a good spot to meet,

DJ, I think 11ish kms Pt Danger to Bells and back is beyond my level at the moment.

Will confirm tonight if I can get a leave pass!
