If the majority of us weighed in at 75Kgs then i'm sure there would be more talk about boards under 14ft , im sure there are more of us pushing 90+kgs though.

Ha ha.

Actually now that you mention it, I (82 kgs) had a quick paddle (on the lake) of a Fanatic Pro Wave 9'2" today. I could not believe how light and nimble it felt even compared to last years glass-wood finish 9'2 board.

Now on my bucket list as a 'serious' wave board!

Its all ok Leroy, once the fat bastards lose some weight from paddling 14fters they'll be back to surf talk

Hmm. On a quick countback of the last 30 threads in this "Board Talk and Reviews" section

14 were surf sup or non-race board related
6 were about paddles and accessories
4 were about 'other' stuff (including this one)
And...
6 were about 14 footers

So I think the answer to Leroy's question is "yes".

Dear Mr Cartoon, I bow to your superior analytical methodology and powers of investigative research. I therefore now withdraw my ill conceived and poorly thought out comment, yours truly with some cosiderable embarassment and bucketloads of remorse, Leroy ( I meant 12'6" PT)

I just bought an 8' Coreban Vibe "for my son". I have my eye on it for the surf. However a disclaimer, I bought myself a 14 footer (M14) at about the same time

Rode a Naish Hokua 9'0 ... real fun. Super turny ... exciting... Next board maybe :)

I did swim with the fishes a lot more though.
