Just snapped my kia kaha surf paddle , where blade enters shaft, no shaft breakage, thanks huey for that, gotta love your shaft. Anyway they told me that paddles are sold in complete packages , blades not seperate . no good. Want a better surf only paddle with backup service , anyone throw us a rope ?

I just bought a quick blade because of their reputation for durability. (and Jim Terrell's credentials)
It was expensive, but they stand behind their product with a no BS warranty.

I tryed to get a QB slim jim awhile back and was told they don't make them and more.. Where did you try yours from..

I have a QB slim line, love it but blade size is still a bit big for me.. I have snapped kialoa, QB and coreban paddles I think alot comes down to how the paddle is treated remembering they are carbon..

I use a GSI Trident paddle pro carbon for racing and love it. Fairly light and increased my speed immediately. I haven't tried any of the quickblades or many of the big name paddles to compare apart from one kialoa and a couple of Starboards.

I have also demo'ed the Trident Surf Pro Carbon but hated it!! The blade is tiny and although they say it is flutterless, I couldn't stop it wanting to slide sideways under power. The Paddle Pro is way better IMO.

I have only used mine twice, but I am stoked with it!
