This is a Performance Surfing Sup that is designed to be very stable for its length.
It is 29 3/4" and so goes rail to rail with ease like a shortboard. I have seen guys as big as 105 kilos surfing it, it is also a solid bigger wave board.
Use it as a quad or thruster. Hope this helps.
The Super Sport has a nice sweet stable spot, I am 98kgs and found it sat in the water nice and still has good glide, it tracks straight quite well which surprised me a bit but with a broad stroke it turns on a dime when setting for a wave.
It glides into a wave almost as good as my 10'5, on the wave the tail is nice and loose but the fins supplied are a bit flexi so I have some fibreglass fins to fit.
On the steeper waves a little more forward rocker would be nice so a quick stomping the tail gets out of trouble.
It floats on the lip well, I found I had to step up the board a bit to keep it stable when floating off the lip.
The deck grip is very grippy, the finish of the bamboo looks pretty trick and it has a certain character to it knowing it has been hand shaped rather than machined.
