My wife is starting to get into SUP and would like to try surfing some small waves. I'm looking at a Sonny King Soft Top board for her.

1. They're cheap. So when she falls off a couple of times and decides she doesn't like it I'm not too out of pocket, and I can leave it in the shed for mates to use.

2. When she falls off and the board hits her, she'll be less likely to abuse me for giving her a hard board.

Has anyone used these in small surf? Are they rigid enough for say a foot high or so?

Cheers

My friend Cam has one so I'll ask him what he thinks.. I'm sure it would be fine.

I think this is one behind the yellow DC board.
